Step 1. Make sure you’re logged into BuildingBlocks. While you can view the default interface without logging in, the search function will be limited to the publicly available data. Logging in gives you access to all the data in the tool.

Step 2. Click on the search bar at the top of the user interface. Here, you can search for either Properties or Identities. To find an identity, make sure the "Identities" option is highlighted. Depending on your BuildingBlocks configuration, you might see multiple identity types to choose from, such as "Property Manager" or "Utility Customer."

Step 3. BuildingBlocks helps enhance your search experience with predictive features. As you type in the search bar, suggested identities that match your criteria will appear. If you have multiple results, you can use the blue paging buttons at the bottom to navigate through the options or search across all identities. 

Step 4. Finally, you can click on the blue, bolded identity name to go directly to the "Identity Profile," which will open in a new tab or window
