Step 1. Ensure your are logged into BuildingBlocks. While you may be able to see the default interface without logging in, the search function will be limited to the data the city make publicly available. Logging in ensures you have access to all data in the tool. 

Step 2. Click on the search bar at the top of the user interface. Here, you can search for either Properties or Identities. To find an identity, make sure the "Properties" option is highlighted.

Step 3. BuildingBlocks helps enhance your search experience with predictive features. As you type in the search bar, suggested properties that match your criteria will appear. If you have multiple results, you can use the blue paging buttons at the bottom to navigate through the options or search across all identities. 

Step 4. Finally, you can click on the blue, bolded identity name to go directly to the "Property Profile," which will open in a new tab or window
