Overview

Cities working with Tolemi have utilized the Score Manager to create composite scores for properties, census block groups, and custom geographies. By combining various data from BuildingBlocks, cities can assign appropriate weights and impacts, facilitating easy comparisons across neighborhoods, owners, or properties.

Scoring Applications:

  • Identify areas with low citizen engagement
  • Prioritize redevelopment neighborhoods
  • Streamline inspection efforts
  • Assess fire risk

The flexibility of scoring extends beyond geography; it can also be applied to owners and other property identities, enhancing transparency and compliance.

Common Criteria: Area-based scores often consider factors such as code violations, service calls, demographic data, and residential density.

Publishing Scores: Some cities publish their scores as public-facing tools, allowing constituents to leverage them for transparency and situational analysis.
